Mine Anafarta (b. 1978) is a collage artist based in Istanbul, TR.
Anafarta makes collages on her phone and combines them with analog collages, drawing, photography, writing, animation, video and performative elements.
In her collages, Anafarta works with the themes of femininity, nature, social identity, and relationships. She layers recycled pop culture elements with typographical bits that echo advertising slogans (where she worked for years) and the sarcasm of the internet meme culture, creating ironic works that reflect the hidden facets of the human psyche.
